The Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Disasters and Emergencies convened a hybrid public workshop on July 8 and 9, 2024, to explore improving support for Indigenous American and tribal communities and nations in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters and public health emergencies and to identify tools, best practices, priorities, and gaps where partners can support these communities’ existing capabilities.
